Institutional investor readiness assessment

As the digital asset industry matures more and more, institutional investors are looking at investments in digital asset funds. However, many funds do not meet all the requirements that institutional investors may have. With our institutional investor readiness assessment, we assess your fund against industry leading practices – such as the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Due Diligence Questionnaires – combined with digital asset industry best practices. Based on the assessment, we will assist you to identify the most critical items to remediate and develop a strategy to put the required controls in place.

For blockchain companies this may include a roadmap to SOC or ISO readiness, corporate governance improvements, risk reporting, operational enhancements, streamlining of compliance requirements and many other factors.

As in traditional finance, well documented policies and procedures form the backbone of any company’s operations. Petri Basson

Petri has unique skill sets with experience in finance and IT. Over the past few years he has focused his career on digital assets and worked with some of the largest digital asset funds, custodians and exchanges.

He is passionate about digital assets and is also the chairman of the Blockchain Association of the Cayman Islands (BACI) and sits on the steering committee of Digital Cayman and the Crypto Currency Security Standard (CCSS).

Daniel Botha

Daniel has extensive technical knowledge and experience of how the blockchain ecosystem works and communicates. He has focused on practical implementations around data retrieval and analytics for blockchains and digital assets. He switched his career from a Process Control Engineer to a Blockchain Tool Architect and Developer and has used his data retrieval and data analytic skills to complete work for some of the largest digital asset funds, custodians and exchanges.

He has a burning passion for blockchain technologies and the digital assets that have been built on top of the technology stack.
